Their food is good. I like mostly their kabuki pulao. In all restaurants I have some special that I always order whenever I visit them. I usually don’t like rice that much in other restaurant, but here this is my favourite dish. Ofcourse other food items are delicious too. But if you like to it juicy fatty meat, I recommend this one. It’s lamb piece is too good. Also they have plenty sitting arrangements. Car park is on road. They are open till 11pm.
This place is a local institution, you can’t miss it there is a camel sign attached to the building and plenty of parking on Kintore Road alongside. The food highlights include pretty much everything that’s cooked on the charcoal bbq’s, the tender lamb is a particular favourite and the breads so fresh and tasty. We always have the eggplant dish and plenty of meat. There’s loads to choose from on the menu and it’s a great place to go for a large group feast, there is always a birthday party in there and it’s generally very full of a wide variety of society including lots of friendly local afghanis. It won’t cost you more than $25 a head including soft drinks and you’ll be stuffed to the brim, give it a go you will become regulars like us and all our friends and family in the area. Enjoy!
Food was served fast. Loved the bbq chicken. Portion was slightly lesser compared to other afghan shops.
Have gone there twice for their Kabuli pulao..tastes great.. meat is drop-off-the-bone tender but rice had way too much butter/ghee in it.. would surely recommend it though
Our favourite afghan restaurant for years. Delicious rice and meats, big portion, value for money. The sauces are delicious, we are practically addicted to their meals that we eat almost every fortnight. Dine in or takeaway.
Awesome value for money: Bolani pancake, spicy Manto dumplings and mixed BBQ skewers with Kabuli Rice are value for money winners.
Really good value for money. Tastes good aswell. Service can be a little slow but worth the wait. The briyani is full of flavour and so is the chicken skewers
The food is awesome not gonna lie but it would be better if I had a knife to cut my lamb kebabs. I have a hard time cutting with the fork. Also the lamb kebabs are a bit lifeless. Add more life into it!!!!!! Thanks
